Adopting Kittens
We are a very small cattery and intend to stay that way. Litters are few and far between and when they finally do occur, the mating and birth have been carefully planned and the kittens will be our focus until they go to their new homes. I have made the decision to breed these cats on a selective basis only because I love Norwegian Forest Cats and I want to preserve and improve the breed. We breed for health, temperament and type. Generally, our kittens may go to their new homes after they are 16 weeks old and only have after they have been neutered or spayed. They are sold pursuant to a contract with strict requirements of the kitten/cat being kept as "indoor only" pets and no declawing of any sort is allowed. These early months in their birth home spent with their fur-mother and littermates are extremely important to the kittens learning proper cat habits and skills, developing a well rounded personality, and learning proper socialization skills, This is necessary so that they will develop into a self confident and happy kitten that will become a wonderful and adored member of your family for many years. I screen potential kitten owners carefully because I will be entrusting them with a kitten that I treasure and love. I want to make sure that the kitten has the most loving, kind, and caring permanent home where he or she will be treasured as a special family member and provided with proper medical care, diet, care, attention and love.
We reserve the right to refuse placement of any kitten.
